Campaign Aliases

The Campaign Aliases module allow campaigns to be linked to an identifier (for example, to link a Workflow to a telephone number, which when called will cause the desired Workflow to pop).

Aliases are used when the campaign name is not appropriate to use in the popping, such as:
  • Inbound telephony (where a dialler may require a specific string format),
  • Linking multiple popping mechanism types of a single campaign (so an individual campaign may be triggered by email, SMS and a telephone number).

Further discussion on Campaign Popping is included in a later article in this section.
