Genesys Cloud Command Control

 

The Genesys Cloud Command control allows an agent to click a simple button that executes a Genesys Cloud helper function.

 

Add a Genesys Cloud Command control to the Workflow Page. The button's text and style can be configured in the Options and Styling tabs of the Field Properties.

 

The Advanced Options tab allows configuration of which Genesys Cloud helper function to execute. The Genesys Cloud helper function to be executed is chosen from the list at the top, and, depending on which command is selected, other parameters may be offered below:

 

 

 

Parameters can either be populated with static text, or linked to a Workflow field or Variable that will contain the value to be used during the Workflow run.

 

If the configured Genesys Cloud helper function is successful, then the returned data is assigned to the value of the Genesys Cloud Command field.

 

Any error messages raised during the execution of the helper function will be alerted to the agent as a Toast.

 

It's not possible to use the genesysSdk helper function with the Genesys Cloud Command control.
