Text Editor

The Text Editor is only reached directly from the Text Label control's Advanced Options, but it is also used within other Advanced Options such as the Email control. It provides a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) interface to let you create and edit the content to be displayed.

Editor Toolbar

1. Editor Toolbar

An editor toolbar is present at the top of the editor window. It contains all the expected text-editing features, such as font, size, centring, text and highlighting colour, text styling, tables, bullet points, indenting, hyperlinks, images and videos, and the ability to view and edit the HTML source of the displayed content.

Editor Window

2. Editor Window

The content of the Text Label can be created or edited here, and is displayed in a similar manner to how it will render on the Page. Any Fields or Variables entered here will be replaced by the appropriate value during the Workflow run.

Fields List

3. Fields List

The values of Fields can be inserted directly into the Text Label's content by selecting them from this list. For instance, a Text Label might include the caller's name that had been collected earlier as part of the narrative structure. This is re-evaluated every time a change is made of the Page, so dynamic Text Label content can easily be created like this.

Variables List

4. Variables List

Similarly to the Fields List, it's possible to insert the value of a Variable directly into a Text Label's content.

This tray allows you to toggle Text Wrapping based on user preference. If enabled, when text reaches the boundary of the code window, it will be wrapped to the line below. Otherwise, the text remains on its current line, and horizontal scrolling is enabled.
