The Workflow Properties view allows you to access the Workflow Designer for the selected Workflow, or directly manage the Workflow and its Versions, Permissions, External Links, and other optional Attributes.
Workflow Name
Sets the name for the Workflow. This is displayed in the Workflow list, as well as being used for the purposes of Campaign Linking and Permissions. As such it should be chosen to be clear and descriptive, yet concise.
Useful for keeping track of changes, e.g., "Version 4 created to test web service functionality by David". Note that these notes are per-Workflow, not per-version, so any version-specific notes should be appropriately marked for clarity.
The automatic version clean up is a licensed feature that allows Workflow Versions to be archived based on specific conditions. To function, it requires the Version Cleanup service to be running.
The live version, along with any other versions scheduled to be set live, will always be retained. If these total fewer than the specified Minimum number of versions to keep, then the most recent versions of the Workflow will also be retained up to that limit.
Select from existing user groups to give members of those groups permission to the Workflow. This can be used to limit it so that only certain groups of users have the ability to edit certain Workflows.
Provides a mechanism to link external diallers, plugins and databases to a Workflow, allowing data to be extracted from a remote system and where required, linked to Workflow fields. See the External Links page for further information.
Allows additional bespoke attributes to be added here (for example, to include additional information relating to the Workflow or customer). These are created in the System Attributes module.
